Beta notes

JUDE beta builds.

These are early builds of JUDE, newest first. They reach musicians who turned on Early builds in JUDE's Settings, before everyone else gets them. They have had less testing than the release build.

When a beta becomes the release build, its entry here says so. For the release builds, see the release notes.

Track inputs and full track names on Cubase and Nuendo. Ask for a track's input and Jude sets it, on mono and stereo tracks alike.

  • Say "set the vocal's input to input 2" and Jude sets it on Cubase and Nuendo, including the left or right half of a stereo input.
  • Jude's window and your engineer use each track's full name, not the short name on the control surface.
  • Markers you move or add in Cubase and Nuendo stay in step with Jude's list, and "verse one" finds a marker called "Verse 1".
  • If Jude is set to the older Cubase and Nuendo connection, a notice takes you to the setting for the current one.
  • Early builds: turn it on in Settings → Account to get new versions of Jude before everyone else.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

There is no beta build right now. Everyone is on the release build.
